You can adjust a lot of these settings in the mod config menu from the main menu of the game. Depending on the size of the tree will also determine how long it takes to remove that block of wood. And likewise you will probably lose your shears in one tree if you use it on a jungle tree. You will still take the same damage to your tools as you would normally and the time to chop will depend on what level axe you have. ItвЂ™s actually not much of a вЂњcheatingвЂќ mod as itвЂ™s more of a time-saving mod. Well now with this mod you can take a whole one down in seconds. They are already so massive that destroying them just takes so much time. Probably the most useful of this mod would be taking down Jungle trees. Since cheating isn't an issue on this server, I fixed the problem by writing a small coremod that patches those checks out of the 'NetServerHandler.handleFlying' method. More specifically, players would get caught in a horrible tug-of-war between a hookshot pulling the player towards a location, and Minecraft repeatedly teleporting them back to their starting location. We were running into an issue with the 'moved too quickly' and 'moved wrongly' SMP checks interfering with the hookshot mods that are included in the pack.
